The Lord is testing my patience. I typed a very long blog post and my computer crashed so I lost the whole thing. Thank you Lord for giving me patience! Here we go again šŸ™‚

A few weeks ago as I was babysitting, it was raining and super windy. The wind was so loud, the whole house was shaking. I prayed “Dear Jesus please calm the wind“ suddenly it got much quieter. It started again and I prayed again. Soon after I prayed the wind calmed down. I believe in the power of prayer. Prayer changes us, it lets us be open to what God is trying to speak through us. God wants to speak to us in miraculous ways, we just need to be open to listening to what He has to say.

I knew God was trying to speak to me through the wind and rain. The lyrics “If the wind goes where you send it so will I“ were placed on my heart. God sends the wind and He is sending each one of us to go and Proclaim His Gospel to the ends of the earth!

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

Praise Him in the middle of the storm. Trust Him in the valleys. Follow Him in the darkness. God is our shelter, our safe place in the midst of the storm. He is with us through the strongest winds. We are to lay everything down at His feet.

I am beyond excited to see how God uses my squad and I in Guatemala, Ecuador and Nepal to further His kingdom and be a LIGHT in this dark world. I am so thankful for this opportunity the Lord has given me. I give Him all the praise and glory forever and ever!

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for supporting me! I have $3,360 so far and $12,440 to go. Gods timing is so perfect! He will provide!

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

Please keep me in your prayers as I prepare physically, mentally and spiritually for this amazing Kingdom journey. Y’all are awesome!

Blessings,

Lydia
