He said in a gentle voice, “stand up daughter, release the heaviness and hold my hand.”

we walked alongside the river. the river was a mess. it was dirty with many pieces   of trash. as Jesus and i walked, he picked up a piece of trash and then another and another and another, until the river began to look clean. we got to the end of the river and came upon a bridge which led to a field of flowers: all different shapes, sizes and colors. Jesus picked up the most lovely flower in the middle of the field and placed it in my hair. as He took His hand off my head, He said, “you are beautiful darling, there is no flaw in you.”

“but Jesus, i’m messy, i’m dirty, and unclean” i stuttered.

“no daughter. i see you pure, i see you clean, i see you without blemish or spot. i have cleansed & purified you with the washing of water.”
