I have been in Gainesville, GA for 7 days now at the Adventures in Missions campus. This place is my home. Everyone here is filled with so much joy and love overflowing from the Holy Spirit. My squad is more amazing in person than over zoom. I took my first bucket shower, it was very refreshing and easier than I expected. I completed the 2.2 mile hike in 38 minutes with my 35 pound backpack on. Not going to lie it was very hard and I felt like I was going to pass out when I was almost to the end; but God gave me strength through the whole thing and I kept repeating to myself "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength" I made it to the finish line with a minute remaining and I sobbed because I was so joyful that the good Lord got me through it.
I am so thankful for this season and what the Lord has been speaking over me. I got a prophetic key from keys for the journey and the word on the key was "anchor" I had no idea what that meant for me but I had confidence that the Lord would speak something to me through it. Yesterday I was in my quiet time with the Lord and I read Hebrews 6:19 which says "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the sanctuary behind the curtain." and as I was praying Abba said "I am your anchor, you are firm and secure in me, come as you are" I don't have to hide anything, He wants me just as I am, the raw, real version of me.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and got me to this point. I am fully funded, thanks God. He is so good! You can continue supporting me by praying for my squad and I in this new season of life. Pray that we would be fully expecting what the Lord is going to do in each one of us and grow our hearts for the Kingdom.
lots of love,
