 I heard that song on the radio and I felt the Lord speak to me through it. It was exactly what I needed to hear. I’m weary and I need to rest in His arms. Even when I feel alone, He is with me. He loves me so much and He will forever be my strength. The Lord has such a beautiful future for you and I.

The enemy is trying to tell me that I’m alone and that I’m not good enough. But the enemy has no say over me. The only thing the enemy whispers are lies, lies about my worth, my future and who I am. Jesus is my defender, He overcomes all the lies and He speaks truth over me and my life. Jesus is the only one that defines me. He says I am chosen, I am loved, I am restored, I am redeemed, I am not alone and I’m His. 

God has brought me this absolutely amazing opportunity to go into a community full of His presence and share His love all over the world. To love on so many people, to speak life into someone’s life, to heal the sick, to preach the gospel, to dance and play soccer with kids, to build life long relationships, to teach english, to telling people their worth is in Christ alone, to feeding the hungry, to loving on kids in an orphanage, to praying over unbelievers. God is going to use my team and I in mighty, powerful, miraculous ways and I’m so excited to see what He has in store for us all!

I know there is a lot of fear with this whole virus going around but God calls us to fear not for He is with us. “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love (1 John 4:18). Everything is being canceled which can be frustrating at times but God is the one who has control over our lives. This is the time we need to lean on Him knowing He has everything in the palm of His hand. 

Prayer: as of now our trip is not canceled but please pray that all of this craziness would pass and God would bring His hand of protection and peace over each on of us. Pray for the people who are on the race right now as they have to leave early. Pray that God would take away any fear and anxiety they may have. 

Update: I have $6,002!! woah such a blessing! God is providing in AMAZING ways! I need $9,798 more to be fully funded by September and I know I’m going to get there by the grace of God! Also exciting news COSTA RICA has been added to my route! I am so hyped to get to go there as well as Guatemala, Ecuador and Nepal. 

Thank you for the constant love and support you all have given me. Thank you for praying and continuing to pray for my team and I. God is good and I’m forever grateful for you all.
