i am strong
i am loved
i am enough
words that i need to speak over myself daily and so do you. the enemy likes to tell us that we aren’t strong, loved or enough. ephesians 6:10 says “finally, be strong in the lord and in his mighty power. put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. (definition of schemes : make plans, especially in a devious way or with intent to do something illegal or wrong) the devil has a plan and the Lord has a plan.
the enemy tricks us into thinking something is good when really it isn’t. when satan temped adam and eve in the garden, they knew God told them not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil but they fell into the enemy’s traps and ate from it anyway. we must not fall into the devil’s temptations and the ways of the world. the devil likes to attack Gods strongest soldiers. he knows our weaknesses and he will do anything he can to tear us apart. we must stand strong and put the full armor of God on so we can stand against him.
words hurt man and the enemy likes to attack us by using other people’s words to bring us down. i have always loved reminding people that they are so worthy and loved because i think often times we let the negative thoughts get into our head more than the positive ones. we let the enemy‘s voice creep in instead of listening to what God says about us.
the enemy knows your name but calls you by your sin so whenever you sin and mess up big time he likes to use that to tell you that you are a failure, a mistake and will never measure up or be forgiven. he likes to make you feel guilty and ashamed so you hide your face.
God knows your sin but calls you by your name. he knows very much what you’ve done yet he chooses to forgive you over and over again because that’s how big his love for you is. he doesn’t want us to hide instead he wants us to come to him with every burden and lay it down at his feet.
i pray for whoever is reading this. that you would know you’re deeply loved by the father. that you would let Gods truth speak louder than the enemy’s lies. the Lord wants you to run to him when you feel attacked by the enemy. put on the full armor of God, kiss the devil goodbye and say not today satan. we can run as far away from God as we want but he will never stop chasing us down. we can’t be lost when he has called us found.
